The team at Get Wet has taken a long time to consider which treks it should offer on this site. There are so many companies offering treks to Nepal that it is easy to get caught up searching for a trek to do and only focusing on the same trek over and over again. If truth be told there are many companies out there that just want you to part with your well earned cash and feed you information about what you are going to do that is dated and factually incorrect. We've searched the internet and we know that for about £1500 excluding flights you can book yourself on to a trek around the "Annapurna Circuit". We've read how beautiful and tranquil this trek is on the internet and yes we're sure that at one time this trek was magnificent, but now it is in fact 85% road. How do we know this because we went there to find out. It was one of the most depressing experiences we ever had and we decided at that point to ensure that we only offered treks on our site that you, the paying customer, would truly enjoy the beauty of. Nepal is a Country that is developing so fast it is often hard to keep up with the changes that happen their. Here at Get Wet we don't sit in an office selling you an experience that we don't know about, we are proactive in looking for new trekking experiences which allow you to experience the true wilderness Nepal has to offer. It is for this reason that some of the bigger named treks in Nepal do not appear on our web site. We like to consider that we are taking a lead in promoting new areas to trek in Nepal, areas of such magnificent beauty and tranquility that you will remember you trekking experience for life and for all the right reasons! Have a look at what is on offer with Get Wet and by all means do some research yourself, but please choose the right trek for you!
